Sadly to say…when I decided to upgrade to the 2.8.1 version of wordpress, I did not take into consideration that all my posts would be deleted and I would have to start over again.
Even though that did piss me off and was completely frustrating, I also had to keep in mind that I can look at it as a new start. Start from scratch and build this blog fresh, and hopefully, better than it was.
So for those that were wondering where everything went, now you know.
You live and you learn, next time, I will try not to make the same mistake as I did this evening.
Anyways, more blogs are to come and I hope that you will stay tuned to my articles.

You need to get a plugin for wordpress which does periodic back-ups of you entire database automatically. This would have saved you!
